We have 4 channels, 8 channels, and 16 channels PC DVR.
As for 4 channels, we have non real-time(PRO-7604), and
real-time(PRO-7604R). As for 8 channels, we have non real-time(PRO-7608),
double speed(PRO-7608SE), and real time(PRO-7608R). As for
16 Channels, we have non real-time(PRO-7616), double speed(PRO-7616SE)

all the PC DVR have audio output? |
Yes, all the DVR have at least one audio output. Only the
PRO DX model has more than one audio output (For every each
channel has one audio output).

DVR be remotely connected? What kind of the connection do
you recommand ? What kind of the bandwidth do I need to view
the DVR remotely? |
Yes, it can. You can either use phone line(dialup) or use
broadband connection to remotely connect the DVR. For the
broadband connection, you have choice of using Ineternet
Explorer or using the client software came with the DVR.
As for the bandwitdth, it's recommand that 300kbs for the
upload stream, and 600 kbs for download stream on both side
of the connection.

I need the static IP address for the DVR? |
We strongly recommend you have a static IP address over
the broadband connection (DSL). If you have dynamic IP address
over the static, we can provide you an ID code, so then
you don’t need to remember your IP address every time
you log in the DVR. For the ID code, we will charge it annually.

your DVR control any PTZ speed dome or camera? |
Yes, it can. however, you do need to have a control card
installed in the DVR in order to control any PTZ camera
or dome.

all the DVR has motion detect? Can you adjust the sensitive
and area? |
Yes, all the PRO series DVR has both software and hardware
motion detect. For the software motion detect you can manually
set the sensitivity and area of the detection.

Yes, you can. Just like the sequence recording, you can
set the schedule for the recording method as motion detect.

If I have only one Static IP and using LAN to share my internet
connection of the DVR, can I still remotely connect the DVR
from outside the network? |
Yes, you can. Just open the port 1001 in the router and
forward the port to the IP address which is assigned to
the DVR. (For the detail of open and forward port of router,
please contact your router manufacturer or your ISP).

Can I record the video locally while remotely connect to the
DVR?What about audio recording remotely? |
|
Yes, you can. When connecting the DVR remotely, make sure
you check the option of Record. If the record option wasn’t
check before connect, you can also click the camera number
at the right side of the Freeview software, when the camera
number is in the color of RED, it means that it is being
recorded. Your can remotely listen to the audio of the camra,
but you cannot record AUDIO remotely on your local computer.

After I downloaded and installed the Freeview Pro from amebacctv.com,
I tried to run the Freeview, but I got an error massage like
“Database error” What can I do? |
Please go back to the amebacctv.com to download and install
the “Access Runtime” This will solve the problem
of the database error.

I got an error message as “Video/Audio Capture card
not found” when loading up the DVR software, what can
I do to fix this? |
This error message may caused by sevral reasons:
1. check the watch dog cable of the video capture card
is plugged firmly.
2. check in the device manager to see if the driver is installed
correctly.
3. check if the camera devices are open.
4. If your OS is Window XP, it may also cause this issue
happening. So please go to our website to download some
update for the Window XP.
After check all these items, if you still have the error
message, please contact us for other options.

I somehow make the DVR view in full screen; all the icon and
bottom are gone but the video. How do I change back the layout
so that I can control the DVR? |
Simply just press the Escape (ESC) key of the keyboard.
If that is not working, End the DVR program by pressing
Control/Alt/Delete, then restart the software and then press
the ESC again. These should bring back all the Icon and
bottoms.

Can I remotely connect to the several DVR at different location?
|
Certainly you can. As long as you know the IP, user name
and password, you can connect more than 4 different DVR
site depends on how many channel you have for each DVR.
The maximum channel you can view at one time is 25.

If I want to backup some clips that were
recorded to the CD, what do I need to do? |
We will provide the CD burning software to the DVR. The
CD burning software is either Easy CD creator or Nero burning
express. Simply just remember clip store location and add
to the burning CD software then backup/burn to the CD. For

How often do I need to do some clean up or maintain of the
DVR computer? And what do I need to do? |
We strongly recommend you do “Disk Defragment”,
“Disk Cleanup” and “Check Disk”
every three month. All the option is under the property
of each drive or in the system tool under the accessory
of Programs in the START menu.

There is a "Please the open camera(s)" error message
while I run the Witness Pro program on Windows XP SP1? |
The problem is caused by the 24bits (32bits) of VGA display
when is on XP SP1. This problem will not occour when you have
older XP version or newest XP SP1 version. You can upgrade
the newest version of XP SP1 from the Microsoft offical website.

18.
I can not search the video clips while I run the playback
program of Witness Pro
program? |
The problem is caused by system shut down abnormally. Please
click "Storage configuration" tab, "Add /Remove
storage device" and then reboot the Witness Pro program.The
system will repair the video clips automatically. You may
need to wait for a while for the system to repair the video
clips while the program restart.
